This place is so well done. There is a lot of walking involved, so as others have mentioned, wear good walking shoes and take along some bottled water. The gardens just kept getting better and better the more we walked.

If you do a mid week visit, you will find enough to fill 4 1/2 hours without even thinking of it. The library itself is worth seeing Blue Boy and Pinky and if you are into nice art, will take more. If you wander through the mansion, I found it takes 45 minutes to an hour.
