It may come as a surprise to those that don’t live in Texas, but most people here don’t ride on horseback to get around town. Just like anywhere else, vehicles of all types can be found on the roads of Texas, though some are more popular than others. Now, a new report has revealed the top car models in the Lone Star state, and shockingly it was more than just pick-up trucks.
Online home improvement website, Housegrail, recently unveiled their list of the top eight car models in Texas. While Ford advertisements in Texas may claim “Ford is the best in Texas,” it was another vehicle taking the top spot on the list. According to CW33, the Toyota Camry is the most popular car model in Texas.
Following the Camry on the list was the Ford F150, Nissan Altima, Chevrolet Silverado, Toyota Corolla, Honda Accord, Honda Civic and Ford Focus. “Texas is a state that’s known for liking things bigger. This tends to apply to their cars too. However, many people in Texas also work on ranches and farms, which makes it necessary for them to purchase trucks and other similar vehicles,” said the report. With these cars, any Texas newcomer will fit right in.
