Ever since Jio entered into the telecom industry with its cheap data plans and bundled voice calling benefits, the telcos have become overly competitive and have aggressively launched all kinds of plans to beat each other in the race to win more customers. More customer-friendly plans have come into the market proving how advantageous has this telecom war been for the customers.

The latest buzz in the telecom industry is the long-term validity plan. All the telecom companies are now focussing on these long-term validity plans to attract more and more customers. Airtel, Jio, Vodafone, and BSNL have recently brought some decent long-term validity plans. These plans come bundled with data and voice calling benefits for longer validity periods. There are half-yearly and yearly plans available in the market. Let's take a look at the top yearly prepaid recharge plans that are currently available in the market.

Jio long-term validity plans: Jio has total four long-term validity plans but only two of them come with the year-long validity. The first plan costs Rs 4999 and offers unlimited free voice calling, free national roaming, 100 SMSes a day, free access to Jio apps and 350GB data in total for a validity period of 360 days. This translates into 1GB data per day. Also, data is unlimited meaning it will continue to work once the FUP limit is reached but at a reduced speed of 64Kbps.

The second Jio long term plan costs Rs 9999. The benefits under this plan are same as that of Rs 4999 with the only difference in the data benefit. This plan will get you a total of 750 GB data for 360 days. This translates into nearly 2GB data per day. Both the plan also offer free access to Jio's complimentary apps.

Airtel long-term validity plans: Airtel has launched several long-term plans in the past few months. Airtel has a long-term validity plan that costs Rs 1,699 and offers unlimited STD, roaming and local calls along with 1GB daily data and 100 SMSs daily. In addition, subscribers also get free access to Airtel TV app.

Airtel has another long term plan that is cheaper than the above plan but then the plan has a shorter validity also. The Airtel Rs 998 plan offers unlimited local, STD and national roaming calls with no FUP limit, 12GB of data and 300SMS every month for the entire validity of 336 days from the date of recharge.

BSNL long-term validity plans: State-owned telecom operator BSNL has also upped its game this time by launching long-term validity plans at Rs 1097, Rs 1,699 and Rs 2,099. The BSNL Rs 1,097 annual plan offers users with data and voice calling benefits for up to 365 days. Users get a total of 25GB data with no FUP speed on the plan and unlimited voice calling across all network in India except Delhi and Mumbai.

Vodafone long-term validity plan: Vodafone offers a long-term validity plan at Rs 1,499. The plan offers unlimited calling with no FUP limit, 1GB data per day and 100 SMS per day for a validity period of for 365 days from the date of recharge.
