Gamal El Sadat

Gamal El Sadat is the chairman of Etisalat by e& in Egypt since its launch in 2007. He was behind obtaining Etisalat by e& in Egypt’s operating license; as the third mobile operator in Egypt. El Sadat led the company to achieving a series of accomplishments through exceeding expectations. He also had a major role in the acquisition of two of the prominent Internet service providers in Egypt; EgyNet and Nile Online. El Sadat plays a significant role in contributing to the growth of the Egyptian economy and strengthening the Egyptian UAE business and investment relations. He is currently Chairman of the Egyptian Emirati Business Council, which was established by a decree from the minister of Industry and Trade in February 2019. Throughout his work experience; a journey that spans over more than 4 decades, El Sadat has been able to establish and manage many outstanding businesses; both locally and globally. Prior to bringing Etisalat to the Egyptian market, El Sadat started his career as an engineering consultant in 1979, and soon became a board member of Osman Group. In 1986, El Sadat joined the Bankers Training Program in Chase Bank in the United States of America, and was granted an Investment Banking License. He then moved to Furman Selz as an investment banker, where he established the Middle East’s Department. In 1992, El Sadat returned to his former position as a board member at Osman Group, as Managing Director of Techno Mechanic. Finally, in 2004, he founded the Mashreq Investment Group. Hazem Metwally is Etisalat by e& in Egypt’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) since 2015. He joined Etisalat in 2007 as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Metwally led the company through a series of achievements, which helped reshape the telecommunication market in Egypt. He had a significant role in the company’s growth, starting by attracting 1 million subscribers during the first 50 days of its launch. Throughout his career in the telecommunications industry, Metwally’s strategy revolves around understanding the consumers’ needs, and how to meet them effectively and successfully. Prior to joining Etisalat, he was the Head of Consumer Marketing at Vodafone Egypt where he played an undeniable role in innovating several commercial initiatives.Previous to that,he was the Head of Distribution at Mobinil. Metwally held some leading roles in several companies since his graduation. Ehab Rochdy

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Ehab Rochdy is Etisalat by e& in Egypt’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) since he joined the company in 2008. Ever since his appointment, Rochdy established strategic objectives to increase the efficiency of the finance department through managing the Financial Accounting, Budgeting, Strategic Financial Planning, Corporate Treasury , Revenue Assurance, Fraud and Costing using advanced techniques and also formulated new associated accounting policies and internal control systems to enhance the department’s performance. Throughout his career, Rochdy has gained an extensive experience by working with local and global financial institutions. He has more than 33 years of experience in the field of Finance, and over 23 years of which in the telecommunication field. His experience was represented in many occasions as he overlooked Etisalat by e& in Egypt’s successful closure of several local and international syndications as well as management of large financial projects and acquisitions. Prior to joining Etisalat by e& in Egypt, Rochdy was the Vice President and CFO of PMCL (OT Pakistan). Before that he was the Financial Controller at Vodafone Egypt and also worked at Ernst and Young previously. Rochdy is a member of the Egyptian Society of Accountants & Auditors. Amr Fathy Is Etisalat Egypt By E&’S Chief Of Technology And Information Officer (CTIO).
He Has Assumed This Role In July 2023; Prior To That, He Was Etisalat Egypt By E&’S Chief Information Officer. Embarking On A Significant Step Further, Fathy Is Propelling His Career Into The Heart Of Technology Within Etisalat Egypt, Immersing Himself Into The Very Core Of Technological Excellence And Advancements. Fathy Joined Etisalat Egypt In March 2007 And Held Several Leadership Roles In The IT Department, Leading The Company Towards Digital Transformation And Formulating Strategies And Tactical Guidelines That Ensured The Achievement Of The Desired Objectives In Total Alignment With Corporate Strategy And Business Plan To Achieve Market Leadership. Ahmed Yehia is the Chief Commercial Officer at Etisalat by e& in Egypt. With a tenure at Etisalat Egypt that commenced in 2016 as the Vice President of Marketing, Yehia has been a driving force behind the company's strategic growth. Yehia has over 21 years of experience in the techo sector and over 15 years of expertise in marketing and sales. Prior to joining Etisalat by e& in Egypt, he worked at Vodafone for more than 15 years, where he held many positions in marketing and sales including being the Chief Sales Officer. Yehia's influence extends beyond Egypt, as he has held key positions in the United Kingdom, showcasing his global perspective and leadership capabilities. In 2009, he fortified his expertise by earning an MBA in Strategic Studies and International Business Management from the German University in Cairo (GUC). Complementing his academic achievements, Yehia is a certified Advanced Management Program (AMP) graduate from the IESE Business School. Sherif Attia is the Chief Customer Care Officer of Etisalat by e& in Egypt, which is Egypt’s top techo brand, and General Manager of its offshoring subsidiary e& global services, a fully-fledged BPO company. He assumed both positions in February of 2023. Attia commands an illustrious career spanning over 30 years in the oil and gas, banking, and telecommunications industries across the Middle East and North America. Throughout his journey, he has held diverse and impactful positions within renowned telecommunication operators and large multinational corporations, including Baker Atlas Logging, Commercial International Bank, Vodafone Egypt, before joining Etisalat by e& in Egypt in 2007. His international & multicultural background, vast expertise, and profound understanding of the industry have propelled him to the forefront of innovation and strategic leadership. Attia has a comprehensive success record in developing and executing digital and business transformation strategies. He harnesses multidisciplinary teams and technology to transform processes, to change operating and service models that delivered an unprecedent enhancement in customer experience and built a long-lasting relationship with over than 30 million customers. Chief Corporate Affairs Officer (CCAO)

Hossam ElMeadawy Chief Corporate Affairs Officer at Etisalat by e& in Egypt. Appointed September 1st 2021, ElMeadawy is responsible for overseeing Etisalat by e& in Egypt’s External Relations, International operations and Wholesale, Government Affairs, Legal Affairs, Corporate Communications, Corporate Strategy, and Business Development. He previously served as External Relations Director since July 2017, leading carrier Relations, Regulatory Affairs, Public Policy, Trade and Commercial Affairs. Prior to joining Etisalat by e& in Egypt, ElMeadawy was the Head of Regulatory and Public Policy at Vodafone Egypt, and prior to that he led network design activities in Africa, Middle East, and India at Alcatel. Hossam started his 22 year career in telecommunications at Alcatel; TCL Communication Technology, managing implementation in several countries around the world, playing a prominent role for six years. Stemming from that, he spent 12 years at Vodafone Egypt, working in technology and network quality, and heading the regulatory and public policy function. Ms. Dalia El Gezery is currently working as Etisalat by e& in Egypt’s Chief HR and Administration Officer (CHR&AO) and member of the management team since 2019. Her main role is to transform traditional HR practices into powerful competitive advantages, creating a new way of working, to achieve the overall business plan and the strategic directions of the organization. In addition to that, Ms. El Gezery is overseeing the company’s administration arm that includes procurement, supply chain, contract management as well as property and facilities. Ms. El Gezery is one of the most experienced and renowned HR professionals in Egypt and the Middle East. Since 2000, she assumed several senior management positions with a strong track record of leading and delivering transformational people strategies and providing innovative human capital solutions in areas of executive coaching, leadership development, talent management strategies and merging property & facilities strategies into the employee value propositions. Prior to Etisalat by e& in Egypt, she worked as the Group Chief Human Resources Officer for Orascom Development Holding leading all strategic HR activities worldwide and acting as personal advisor to the Chairman. Previous to that she was the leading figure in creating the HR agenda and organization transformation in Vodafone Egypt by delivering a state of art HR and talent strategy through different employee’s touch points and delivering a unique employee value proposition. Ms. El Gezery held different non-executive board membership positions during her career that includes: Vodafone Foundation and Orascom Development Egypt. With an extensive career spanning over two decades, El Khouly stands as a distinguished B2B Strategist renowned for spearheading Digital Transformation, Marketing & Sales, Solutions Development, Budgeting & Planning, and Customer Care initiatives. , Prior to his role at Etisalat Egypt by e&, he held the position of Digital Solutions Director at Vodafone Intelligent Solutions, during which he managed to double the value of the VOIS Digital Portfolio for Vodafone Group. Under his strategic guidance, he spearheaded the establishment of the VOIS digital acceleration unit, operating on a fully agile basis, which significantly enhanced operational efficiency.
El Khouly’s remarkable expertise has also enabled him to lead high-performing teams across diverse businesses, including Vodafone Egypt, Vodafone Group, VEON Ltd, Orascom Telecom Holding, and more.
