Actually oil and gas mined in Alberta is transported into Sarnia, Ontario via pipelines where it is refined. So oil and gas is refined in Sarnia, Ontario which contributes to that GDP.

Most economic activity in Canada does not take place in Ontario thats not true. British Columbia has a large lumber (wood) industry. Alberta i =s vast in oil and gas. Quebec is home to agriculture and aircraft manufacturing. Manitoba is agro-based; same as Saskachewan.... so Ontario is not where everything is centered. Its just the most populated.

The reason I picked Ontario for the comparison is to show how just one province beats naija.
