I have both classic and retail installed. I need to save space, and would like to uninstall classic while keeping retail.
I tried from the control panel (Windows 10), but got a message that uninstalling the game needs to be done from the Blizzard launcher.
In the Blizzard launcher, I don’t see any option to uninstall classic, only retail. When I have classic selected, I don’t see the gear icon (settings).

While on the Blizzard app goto the World of Warcraft tab. Select: World of Warcraft Classic Under the Versions dropdown then select: Options → Uninstall game.
If you already manually deleted the game. Make sure to follow up with our advanced troubleshooting Here. Manually deleting the game may not remove all files and the game may still appear under the Add and remove program section of the windows control panel. If you wish to fully resolve the issue you may need to reinstall and uninstall it via the Blizzard app.
