The Spy Police vehicle plate number was legitimately designed to give security privileges to legitimate businesses in Nigeria in their day to day activities in the movement of staff, equipment and VIPs.

REQUIREMENTS

1. VEHICLE MUST BE A PICKUP TRUCK (HILUX, Nissan FRONTIER, TUNDRA,ETC), AMBULANCE, BULLION VAN or PEUGEOT operational cars like the 406 and 407.

2. VEHICLE MUST BE REGISTERED IN THE COMPANY NAME AND PROOF OF OWNERSHIP AND VEHICLE LICENSE IN COMPANY Name MUST BE PRESENTED.

3. CAC REGISTRATION CERTIFICATE OF COMPANY.

4. PASSPORT BIO-DATA PAGE OF COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE.

This number helps you save time and increases your productivity and speed as it grants you security clearances at check points as well as helps your business avoid disturbances from ominiles, revenue collectors and agberos,etc.


The number plate is for as valid for as long as your venture is still operational in Nigeria and once obtained is maintained by the companys' transport officer.

I have been reading through this page and I have come to conclusion that most of those who comment and make noise , know nothing about what they comment about.
Many are asking what police SPY number is but the “I too know “ guys here are avoiding the question and making noise everywhere

The comments reeks of ignorance aswear. Even if you don't know it, there's Google.

PS: Spy plate number is not basically for intelligent officers. Private individuals can get it after proper documentation and authorisation. I hated it when it became all loosers and criminals affair. Funny enough, this directive is DOA and will be comprised.

Most spies in the field don't even use such plate numbers.

SPY means SuperNumerary Police (SPY Police) in this context, and this plate number is meant to be used by SPY OFFICERS. But trust Nigerians to turn it to another thing!

Civilians too do acquire spy plate number..
I remembered trying to register one of my cars 3 years ago... the price 300k was outrageous to my budget, I settled with IMO plate for 35k...

It's not for police Squard it's a VIP thing for those that can afford it after background checks..
As you guess, it saves you from unnecessary stress on checkpoints ..

Just like customised plate number with your name...

You can also use the plate on different cars as long as they are registered to the police spy
