User Reviews of Best Bikes

  • Hero Xtreme 125R
Hero Xtreme is powerful beast of 125 cc segment

Review of the Hero Xtreme 125R 1. Buying Experience The buying experience for the Hero Xtreme 125R is generally smooth and satisfactory. Hero MotoCorp, being one of the leading two-wheeler manufacturers in India, ensures that their dealerships provide excellent customer service. The sales staff are knowledgeable and helpful, offering detailed information about the bike’s features, financing options, and any ongoing promotions. The process from inquiry to delivery is streamlined, making it hassle-free for customers. 2. Riding Experience The Hero Xtreme 125R offers an impressive riding experience, especially for urban commuters. Its 125cc engine provides a good balance of power and fuel efficiency. The bike is lightweight, which makes it easy to handle in city traffic and nimble enough for quick maneuvers. The suspension system absorbs road bumps effectively, ensuring a comfortable ride even on rough roads. The riding posture is ergonomic, reducing fatigue on longer rides. However, the bike might feel slightly underpowered on highways compared to higher displacement mode 3. Looks and Performance In terms of looks, the Xtreme 125R is sporty and modern. It features a sharp headlamp design, muscular fuel tank, and stylish graphics that appeal to younger riders. The digital-analog instrument cluster is informative and adds a premium touch to the bike. Performance-wise, the 125cc engine delivers a power output of around 10-12 HP, which is adequate for city commuting. The bike accelerates smoothly and has a reliable braking system with optional disc brakes for added safety. The fuel efficiency is commendable, often delivering around 50-55 km/l, making it an economical choice for daily use. 4. Servicing and Maintenance Hero MotoCorp’s extensive service network ensures that servicing and maintenance are convenient and affordable. Regular servicing is straightforward, with most parts readily available at authorized service centers. The service staff are trained and efficient, often providing quick turnaround times. Maintenance costs are relatively low, which is a significant advantage for budget-conscious riders. The bike’s build quality is robust, requiring minimal unscheduled maintenance if properly cared for. 5. Pros and Cons Pros: -Affordability: Priced competitively, making it accessible for a wide range of customers. -Fuel Efficiency: Excellent mileage, which is ideal for daily commuting. -Comfortable Ride: Good suspension and ergonomic design ensure a comfortable riding experience. - Stylish Design: Modern and sporty looks that appeal to young riders. - Service Network:Extensive and reliable service network with affordable maintenance costs. Cons: - Power Limitation:May feel underpowered on highways or for aggressive riding. - Basic Features: Lacks some advanced features that are becoming common in newer bikes. - Resale Value:Being a lower displacement bike, the resale value might not be as high as some competitors. Overall, the Hero Xtreme 125R is an excellent choice for those looking for a stylish, fuel-efficient, and affordable motorcycle for city commuting. It offers a good blend of performance, comfort, and economy, backed by Hero’s reliable service network. While it may not be the best choice for high-speed highway cruising, it excels in its intended urban environment.

    The best 125cc bike

Satisfied with the bike. Worth the money. Wish it had a dual-channel ABS version. Servicing - 1000₹ per servicing. They will try to push for AMC service but you can skip it. Also, skip the chain cleaning and lubing. Find a local mechanic as TVS service is not up to the mark and will try to loot you. Pros - Low kerb weight, 60+ mileage, peak torque at low RPMs so easy to maneuver in traffic. Cons - The underside of the engine scratches the speed breaker in case the pillion is on the heavier side. Thin tires don't inspire much confidence at high speed and monsoon.

The worst bike engine overheats after riding 10 km, burning sensation on my thighs, The service centre also does not take the customer's concern seriously, thinking of selling it, a lot of issues after one year, and never gonna buy the Royal Enfield bike again, worst experience to buy RE bike, only air cooled, worst feeling to ride at summer.
